Kathmandu and Nagarkot Tour, Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, is one of the world's oldest cities. The old part of the city, with narrow medieval streets and lovely little shrines, centers on the Durbar Square (durbar being the Nepali word for 'palace'). Here one can find distinctive pagoda-roofed temples, stone sculptures, old monasteries and historic monuments. The Kathmandu Valley lies at the crossroads of ancient civilizations of Asia. It has more than 100 important monuments. The Kathmandu valley was rewarded the status of "World Heritage Site" by UNESCO in year 1979.

Nagarkot, located 32 kilometers east of Kathmandu, is one of the most scenic spots in Bhaktapur district and is renowned for its spectacular sunrise view of the Himalaya when the weather is clear. Visitors often travel to Nagarkot from Kathmandu to spend the night so that they can be there for the breathtaking sunrise. Nagarkot has become famous as one of the best spots to view Mount Everest as well as other snow-topped peaks of the Himalayan range of eastern Nepal. It also offers an excellent view of the Indrawati river valley to the east. With an elevation of 2,195 meters, Nagarkot also offers a panoramic view of the Valley and is described by visitors as a place whose beauty endures year round

Itinerary Details

Day 01:  Meet & greet upon arrival at Kathmandu airport and transfer to your Hotel. Afternoon free of the day. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 02:  Breakfast at the Hotel. At 0900hrs proceed for a half day sightseeing tour of Boudhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple and Bhaktapur city. After the sightseeing tour continue the drive to Nagarkot. Afternoon walk in around Village. View the Sunset over the Himalayas provided the sky is clear. Overnight at the Resort. 

Day 03: Breakfast at the Hotel. After breakfast transfer from Nagarkot to Kathmandu en route sight seeing tour of Kathmandu city and Swayambhunath Chaitya. Afternoon free for personal activities. Overnight at the Hotel. 

Day 04:  Breakfast at the Hotel. Transfer from Hotel to airport in time to connect your flight to onward journey.
